It is the most important Etrurian burial place. It includes two Hellenistic hypogea (end of the IV-I century B.C.) one of them with a round plan with a supporting central pillar and the other one with a vestibule from which you access four chamber tombs. In both the two hypogea were found several cinerary urns now kept in the Archeological Museum of Volterra. The Necropolis is open to the public.
